I'm not crazy about running an additional app, but I do occasionally run TweetDeck on my Mac. Thanks.

I go through Twitter phases. I go through weeks of using Twitter, and then won't touch it for weeks. I love using Twitterfon for iPhone. Makes Twitter very accessible.

I also use Twitterfon. In my business, Twitter is just about indispensable today.

The more a person knows about it, the more they can get something out of it.

People who love cooking have much more joy of hanging out at www.recipezaar.com (I'm Marianne in Switzerland if you stop by)

You have done some kind of cross between Twitter and Facebook as well. With which as the guiding site? How?

I get you if there is some big event going on - or if I am out travelling and can't post to facebook - but other than that, I still don't get it even after 18 minutes of your explanation. Oh yeah - and the search function sounds interesting (if I am bored ;-)

Does that stand for Watch Twitter Feeds? ;] That was a comprehensive view of the service. I never knew about the search site! Thank you!

I subscribe to individual RSS feeds and I have most of the people I follow broken down into individually-selectable RSS feeds in my RSS reader. This also has the benefit of archiving tweets on my computer and allowing me to create folders, so I can arrange my tweeters into groups and easily choose which tweeters to read at which time. RSS can also be used to bring your twitter feed to your personal website. The downside is it makes each entire tweet a clickable link back to twitter, rather than just text.

What I really wish to see is that twitter will have some built-in sorting and grouping and filtering features that are user-configurable so people can define what different groups or categories people are grouped in, and how the results are filtered. Most especially, the ability to assign tweeters to multiple groups so that the same tweeter can appear in various different filtered results, not just one, e.g. you would appear say under Vloggerheads and also Business, whereas Mysti Mayhem might appear under Vloggerheads and Musicians. Threaded tweet 'conversations', tweeter priority, temporarily hiding tweeters and keyword filtering are just a few ideas that I'd like to see, because how we arrange our twitter reading agenda depends on what we're looking for at that moment, and it's not always the same thing. (not for me).

Anyway those are just some of my thoughts on what you've said.

They don't yet Terry. But that's their next big step...to develop revenue-generating apps/tools. They already have good funding, they just need to know what to develop that people would be willing to pay for, whether it's a business tool or a private service to business.

i got an account there awhile back because of you and i still haven't really found it to be worthwhile. i'm 8:30 into your video, and i still wonder: how is this much different from the status updates page of facebook?

@suburban ~ I watch current sometimes. It seems like much of it is viewer contributed content, or maybe viewer-inspired. I think it's pretty cool. It doesn't seem to be promoting an agenda and sometimes, if I'm not careful, I might learn somethin' f…

@Ish, oddly, the London underground is the oldest subway in the world, at around 150'ish years old, it just gets up dated every decade or so
