Hi Uriel - Not under cover.  We film openly.  And we download live press conferences (before "news" coverage is re-edited by corpmedia)... for use later.  Many politicians will choke on their words of today next year.  It's the digital age.  We save raw news clips -- before editing/spinning begins.

@ Uriel - A link?  We're posting at Utube, Twitter, at my blog page and Jessica's (amIrighteousnow) blog.  We've already had one live press clip disabled at Utube (we re-uploaded it elsewhere).  We're using social media to share information that is recorded by us, or has been downloaded and saved by us before it is edited (read: spun) for the "evening news."

 

Guess what?  It's working.  More people are showing-up. More people are doing it.  "thepeoplenews" (tpn) is anyone with a cam, cell phone and/or hard-drive.  We're faster than a speeding bullet.

I'm getting most of my info from Twitter now. Many times I find out about news in other countries before it gets to the 6 o'clock news. Most recently...the riots in Tottenham.

@ Christine  - I added a link to my personal web page in this video description, where I have begun uploading clips of "raw" press conferences.  The first press conference I have posted at my website was later re-edited by ABC, so that the interruptions and rudeness of the Washington Press Corps was gone; Senator Boxer's comments were gone, and many of the Senators' answers were replaced by news-anchor voice-over.  Subtle changes that made a very big difference.

@Tah - Corporate-owned media is not by or for The People.  They lie to us, both overtly and covertly.

 

@S. Presley - Well, it isn't about self-aggrandizement for most of the "political" people on Twitter.  It is about organizing, and sharing information without corporate-media spin.
