The simple things??

Okay, we are all going to need to be mindful of the fact that you want things that are not the obvious in our lives. You want simple little things. I will start with having the windows & doors open in my house when the weather is neither too hot nor too cold. We have a screen door on one door, so we can do that. I live on a hill & it's a little like living in a tree house. We can step outside our front or back door & be completely outside. With windows open the air is fresh, the birds sing & we can hear it even more clearly, & it's like being right out there with the squirrels & chipmunks. All is right with the world at those times, which is any day now & we have already had a few days of open doors & windows. :-)

Money has to pay the bills, but it is the simplest things in life that makes me happy. Having my favorite mug makes me happy. Frothing my milk for a cappuccino makes me very happy. Laughing with friends, a great home made meal, chatty friendly neighbors, people that make life easy and not difficult, basically not crying over spilled milk... I have a long list but now that I have to write them down I can't think of them lol Spring blossoms get me excited as summer is my favorite season. Outdoor artsy cafes, walking in fields where the view is endless and no sign of civilization. Listening to the birds, sunsets, good friends, a glass of wine and coconut suntan lotion lazing in the sun. There are many more meaningful ones, I'll have to give it more of a think.
