Bravo to you Tom! I love you more even now than I did only 5 minutes ago lol Intolerance is not productive. However I can certainly understand being intolerant to intolerance. I have high hopes for this community and I think we have all learned something from this week. Thank you ~ PiP
I think you place your finger on the weakness of this type of communication. Here we do not talk to each other; we talk at each other. There is no immediate response, as there would be in a normal conversation. Therefore the argument can be expanded to what the deliverer percieves to be his/her absolute refutation of the other viewpoint and the absolute veracity of his own. In your own diplomatic way you have just done this. Others do it differently. Had I been with you I would have politely disagreed fairly early on in your sermon but since I do not type at 75 words per minute I ain't going to attempt to now!
a good explanation of why you pulled inmendam's video.
it is interesting that VH, even though very small, is beset by the same problems that helped lead to it's creation.
Paul's vid about using YT because it accepts his iphone movies seemlessly is also interesting. the effort and technology involved in keeping up with the times must be daunting.
who knew?
thanks for the site. it has been fun.
Peace.
Actually, we pulled that video because it contained a threat to a user, essentially: post more videos like that and this site will become more uncomfortable for you.
As for iPhone uploads, we're working with Ning to assure we can use that method shortly. There's some kind of bug they're working on right now.
I was once told by a YouTuber once in a Response Video that he refuses to tolerate anyone's tolerance when I made a video about tolerating other people's beliefs. So what do we do to deal with other people's intolerance? Stay quiet? Humor them? Ignore them? Give them a taste of their own medicine? Drive them out of the community? Support their right to their point of view regardless of how hostile they treat others? Fine video, Mr. Tom!

Hey Pip, thanks for the comment. When I get nostalgic I watch this video. What a great plane and wonderful Canadian engineering achievement. I went to Vancouver once years ago with my then wife, my son as a small child, and my wife's brother. The Ca…
I agree with William T about your character, Jim. It's great to see. As for my redneck card, well, I've got my "Don't Tread on Me" flag in the shop. And I do own guns. I've hunted all my life (pheasants and quail). Nowadays I root for the quail and…
@flop Yep, the folding kind, better than the jingling kind.
That's what my wood shop teacher use to say in Junior High.
@Tim I am thinking you are right. Just a thumb print or an eye scan and nothing else needed.
Cards will seem so antique in 20 ye…
