I have talked about some of the work I have been doing with Workingbikes , here in Chicago.
Well here is a little video to describe what we do at Workingbikes. I am really stoked this morning because i am representing them today at lolapalooza, at their booth there. Best thing is that I get free entry to palooza and get to see Blacksabbath. The last time I saw sabbath was 30 years ago when I was 15 living in SanAntonio. Back then Ian Gillan(of deep purple) was the lead singer. I found out I can take a flip camera with...so you know the drill.

Have a wonderful time, SP!

The last company I worked for was owned by Ministers. Over the course of the year they collected donations of all kinds. But their specialty was bikes. Mostly donated, and some picked up from the trash... they would repair them and make them street worthy at their own cost and the goodwill of volunteers to make repairs. They also collected toys and clothes as donations. Throughout the year, every weekend they go out in their large box trucks preaching the Bible, giving to the needy what ever they have to offer. Food, clothes, toys for children, even money to pay utilities of those who can not afford to make ends meet.
Every Christmas Eve, they go into Camden. With wrapped gifts of what is still available for all the children. And a bow on every bike.
Last year on Christmas Eve, they received 562 smiles for 562 bikes. Every truck came back empty :D
