Ten Things to Do If You're A Vloggerheads Newbie (help with setting things up!)

These are some issues that have come up that might be of interest to new members (to avoid any initial faux pas)

Embedded videos from other sites uploaded as new vids here At issue: Some members see it as taking up front page space from original VH content Result: Still allowed, but suggested to not overdo it. NO videos from other users are to be uploaded from other sites.

Multiple Uploads
At issue: It quickly pushes fairly new content off the front page
Result: It's allowed still, but members who do so will be scorned and riddled by NutCheese and friend. :o)

Embedding videos in comments
Everyone does it, but be sure it's not on auto-play before you hit that save button. If it's on auto-play, it interrupts the persons video and there's no way, currently, to delete the comment.

Well, I tried uploading a video for the 1st time here yesterday and upon completion of the "upload progress" stage, I was taken straight to the ning site with my video not uploaded. My question is, is this common with 1st time uploaders or am I just missing something here? The vid is not an embed & would in no way violate TOS. I guess I should contact a Mod but I'll just leave my question here for starters.
