Troubles with Video rendering... !!HELP!!!!

Making A Bomb Shelter For The Yahoo Photo3D Moderators

(Anyone else who knows or has insight please chime in, too.)

I'm an avid film viewer but not a filmmaker, so I don't knowmuch about this... but I'm curious bc you've mentioned it once or twice.

You've referred to cameras shooting in 24 frames per second. This much I know: old school film is/was 24 fps, and I think the standard for digital is ...30? So here are my questions:

1) Why isn't 30 better? Wouldn't that mean more detail/ realistic movement?

So, how long does it take to convert a video???

I uploaded a video days ago in which I requested to become a citizen of Vloggerheads. I uploaded the video from my iPhone by emailing to the address that was given to me for such situations. The video STILL has not been converted so that it can be viewed on Vloggerheads. Are these conversions done manually? If so, I can understand the delay. However, if the conversion process is automated, then there must be a problem. Can someone please let me know what I need to do to get my video converted?… Continue

Elgg Video File Player

Now that everyone is leaving Vloggerheads to start their own Ning sites I figured I better get serious about customizing Elgg for vloggers. Ning is not a good platform for vlogging because you have little control over the site features and they can shut you down without warning. You will eventually get screwed over by Ning. Firefox Video Pause Fix

Ever notice an annoying, persistent lag every ten seconds or so when you're watching a YouTube (or other) video in Firefox?

By opening about:config in your Firefox address bar, then typing browser.sessionstore.interval in the filter box, you'll see a value of 10000, which is in milliseconds.
