Rachel Canning's Lead Attorney - John Inglesino

So Rachel moves out of her parents home (or was kicked out as she claims) last October? Being "kicked out" might be interpretive. I mean did she interpret her parents rules as "my way or the highway" and refuse to follow those rules? Is that what she means by getting kicked out? Should a 17 year old teen have rules like "be home by 1:30AM" (aka have a curfew)? Is it acceptable…

Advice to all Scottish parents (and the English can feel free to use this tip!)

Advice to all Scottish parents (and the English can feel free to use this tip!) Christmas Arrangements A man in Scotland calls his son in London the day before Christmas Eve and says, “I hate to ruin your day but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough.” 'Dad, what are you talking about?' the son screams. “We can't stand the sight of each other any longer” the father says. “We're sick of each other and I'm sick of talking about this, so…

balls of steel

Our 10/10 launch of the Red Bull Stratos capsule had to be stopped at 11:42 a.m. local time in Roswell, New Mexico just before Felix Baumgartner's giant 30 million cubic foot balloon had been fully inflated and made ready for take off. From early morning the team postponed the launch due to strong winds at 700 feet - the balloon's top - waiting for the right weather…

S.N.O.D. - Stupid News of Day

OK, I've given this some thought and have come to the conclusion that it's just not enough to create a blog about some current event / news story and expect people to "get" why I feel it's significant (or perhaps see in it what I see).

Too often people don't take the time to watch an embed or follow a news link and the conversation generally erodes to cliche bickering in reference to whatever someone assumes is the intended message of a blog.

In order to generate more vlogging…

Bullying Tactics of Linda Vista Hospital Custodians

Early last year, "The Boyle Heights Paranormal Project" befriended the caretaker of Linda Vista Hospital, the now decommissioned hospital used for a filming location. Since that time, the leader of BHPP has turned it into an elitist paranormal attraction that overcharges paranormal investigators, and threatens anyone who speaks out against their corrupt business practices.…

King of Prussia Mall

My next trip to New York City is on October 30th. I plan to visit The American Folk Art Museum, The Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum, the Carnegie Deli, and the Top of the Rock. I've already bought my Top of the Rock ticket online. However this will probably be my last trip to NYC for this year because the cold weather will make travel unpleasant and dangerous.

In November I may go to the King of Prussia Mall instead of NYC. This is part of my plan to explore Philadelphia. The King of… Continue

I Saw Star Trek's Sulu At Ellis Island

Last Sunday I went on a bus trip to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. You can read all about it on my blog post at: http://williamsportwebdeveloper.com/cgi/wp/?p=830. An unexpected treat was seeing actor George Takei making a speech for the dedication of the Go For Broke: Japanese American Soldiers Fighting Two Fronts exhibit.…

Storms-a-coming, no really! Look!

Long story short- astraphobia.

Short story long, I'm afraid of thunderstorms. Just took my dog outside, I can always tell when he has to go outside because he wakes me up with his "potty dance" like shaking. When I took him outside I could hear distant thunder- which means I'm now watching the weather channel.

Scattered thunderstorms were predicted and I'm like "um- duh!". I always watch the "weather on the 8's" to see the Doppler radar. After being afraid of thunderstorms… Continue

The Sorcerer's Apprentice - Movie Review

I saw the Walt Disney Pictures "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" over the weekend. It was a OK film. I probably would not have spent the money to see "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" if not for the fact that the movie is set in Manhattan. A considerable number of NYC landmarks are featured in the movie including; the Chrysler Building, Wall Street's Charging Bull sculpture which gets animated, Times… Continue
