A few nights ago I watched an 80's sci fi flick- "Cocoon". If you know the movie you'll be familiar with the final scenario in which 4 elderly couples are given the choice of leaving earth to live a life of perpetual youth on a distant alien planet or remain on earth to live out their remaining few years. iPhone App suggestion

So I found this one called "Aurora Feint"

It is a Puzzle game/RPG. It's free and pretty nifty. I like the fact that the game play is effected by if you tilt the phone. Imagine how Gems or Tetris would play if you could tilt the screen sideways.

All the extra options you would give yourself.

I am digging it!

New Orleans

As the Big G makes his way toward the the city of New Orleans, I can't help but wonder if this beautiful city of my husband's birth will be a place to which we can return and recognize. The images of Katrina are still etched in my mind right next to the images of the horror film my parents let me watch at far too an impressionable age. I can't shake it. I pray that there will be no new horrors to brand into my brain.

Today's odd event

So on my way home from the movies (I went and saw Babylon AD... um yeah... avoid that one) I was driving along the 101 heading back to my house when on the side of the highway was a rooster...

Saturday morning

You know living with a dog is a pain sometimes! They are nice and fluffy, and loyal..Yet they lack when trying to help move a recliner. For about four years I have been trying to move the radio equipment to a back room. Trying to free up the room so I can start the move yesterday Bentley and I tried to move the recliner! A beautiful Saturday Morning...

Sitting outside watching the sun come on - well, it's been up awhile - just watching it rise higher in the sky.
