Atleast we know where the Republicans stand on this election...

I think we know where the republican party stands...even on facebook!

Just an observation of mine in the bumper sticker application
Just thought it was funny after hearing on the news that record amounts of Republicans are polling for Obama...

Space- Your final frontier?

A few nights ago I watched an 80's sci fi flick- "Cocoon". If you know the movie you'll be familiar with the final scenario in which 4 elderly couples are given the choice of leaving earth to live a life of perpetual youth on a distant alien planet or remain on earth to live out their remaining few years. It's a great after dinner conversation and a question i've pondered from time to time, so here's my query to you.

If you and your immediate family had the chance to live out the… Continue

iPhone App suggestion

So I found this one called "Aurora Feint"

It is a Puzzle game/RPG. It's free and pretty nifty. I like the fact that the game play is effected by if you tilt the phone. Imagine how Gems or Tetris would play if you could tilt the screen sideways.

All the extra options you would give yourself.

I am digging it!

Did I mention it was also FREE?

Renetto and the admin...what are their real motives here?

Ok....now that I got your attention with the title let me apologize for being a little misleading with that. However, I truly wanted this blog to be seen.

I was excited to be invited here and yet I was also a little apprehensive because to be honest, I had made it a point a long time ago to stop watching Renetto, there were a lot of things that I saw on his videos on yt that I didn't agree with and decided that if I couldn't say something nice, that it was best not to say anything at… Continue

The redefinition of anal. Some people live for conflict, and that's ok.

Why post the embed here?

Because I'm putting much effort into 36 kids, on my football team, work, and little else....

It was meant to make someone smile. I thought a few vloggerheads, might lighten up, and do the same.

If you find my proclivity for wanting others to be happy, move along. I won't be offended.

I'll be fine, and so will you. *high five* *skips away, in manly manner*

Have a great Labor Day weekend.… Continue

New Orleans

As the Big G makes his way toward the the city of New Orleans, I can't help but wonder if this beautiful city of my husband's birth will be a place to which we can return and recognize. The images of Katrina are still etched in my mind right next to the images of the horror film my parents let me watch at far too an impressionable age. I can't shake it. I pray that there will be no new horrors to brand into my brain.

Today's odd event

So on my way home from the movies (I went and saw Babylon AD... um yeah... avoid that one) I was driving along the 101 heading back to my house when on the side of the highway was a rooster...

Not an inflatable one. Not a plastic one. Nope, honest to goodness poultry.

A Rooster on the side of the highway, just hanging out, being all rooster-like...

How this bird came to be on the side of the highway (and yes I am saying highway a lot cause I really want this to… Continue

Saturday morning

You know living with a dog is a pain sometimes! They are nice and fluffy, and loyal..Yet they lack when trying to help move a recliner. For about four years I have been trying to move the radio equipment to a back room. Trying to free up the room so I can start the move yesterday Bentley and I tried to move the recliner! Managed to get it stuck in the hallway and ended up having to go outside to go from living room to the kitchen. Bentley tried to jump over the chair and knocked over a book… Continue

Interesting Word for Saturday

Added by Al Newberry, World Dictator on August 30, 2008 at 10:30am — 1 Comment

A beautiful Saturday Morning...

Sitting outside watching the sun come on - well, it's been up awhile - just watching it rise higher in the sky. The rooster crowed his good morning, and now I think all the younger roosters are now showing "their manhood" by running around choosing which chick to hang out with today. The morning birds are singing, and the cows are mooing.. Our dog, BJ is sitting here beside me - watching and hoping the cat will come out "to play"... the cat of course is in the barn... Yes, a typical morning on… Continue
