I can't make out the sig, though... who did it?
It's got an epic sci-fi/ supernatural feel to it.
And who's that on the "L?"

This is the first line of Leo Tolstoy's
Anna Karenina: "Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way."
Discuss, including implications. Extra credit for videos.

Turkey's Secular Democracy Under Threat!
Turkey's Constitution provides for the Separation Of Powers. That is The Parliament, The Judiciary, and the Military institutions.
Historically, the military have intervened when they felt that the Secular aspect that the Constitution Caters to was under threat by the political administration in power.
Today, there are TWO segments in the…

A common sight of my childhood family ride to school was the stare of a camel being carted down the freeway in the tiny bed of a Datsun or Toyota pick up. It's such a cliche and common sight that we made fun of Dad for making a last minute purchase of a painting depicting the Toyota camel - but now of course we treasure it.
Just as common were wrecked cars, several a week, horribly twisted and mangled shells of almost exclusively Mercedes Benz and Rolls Royce, the kind we usually saw…

Most Americans Say They Have The Best Health Care System
In The World!
This is a false statement that is made by most of the political representatives in Washington-DC. What they don't say or possibly know, is that thousands of Americans leave these shores to access heart transplants in China and Singapore. Because it is more affordable, available, and no insurance companies ripping them…

Here's a note I received from Ning this morning:
"Hello,
I wanted to write and let you know that one or more of your Ning Networks will be affected by some performance-related maintenance we are performing tomorrow, Thursday, February 25th, starting at 10AM Pacific Standard Time. We will be moving a batch of networks to a new, upgraded server. During this maintenance your network will not be accessible and will display a branded maintenance page. This migration should last…

The Ron Paul Delusion
Why the Texas congressman does not represent the future of conservatism
David Harsanyi | February 24, 2010
What are we to make of the Republican Party's future now that libertarian Rep. Ron Paul won the presidential straw poll at the well-attended Conservative Political Action Conference last week?
Is the GOP about to transform into the party of the gold…

My name is Nike of Samothrace but you can call me W..V.
I am counting on your vote for Dance off Champion.
I am old enough to be your God.
If elected I promise to appear in a flowing dress or slip rather than a bedsheet so that I can move 10 to 15% more gracefully.
If elected to carry on to the next round I can arrange for my tit to fall out or stay in - whichever is the will of the people.
I'm all about the…

My Name is Vincent Van Gogh.
I am counting on your vote for Dance off Champion.
As a 2 time winner I think you can count on me, I would also like to say, "freedom!, lower taxes, and no one should starve"
There is a rumor in Milwaukee that my opponent, Nike of Dummyface, has no head.
I believe in yellow ochre.
If elected I will gyrate with an Iris in my pants for you.
I love you..Don't make me prove…

Remember that first vlog. Turning on the camera the first time, feeling all sweaty, knowing what you were going to say before you hit the record button, and then after hitting record having your mind go completely blank. If you still have your first vlog, let's see it and maybe we can have some laughs at each others…

I live in a big old house that has been made into five flats and I'm on the middle floor. Anyway the couple upstairs are Polish and have had people (lots) round since Sunday all standing on the stairs outside their flat every time they all want to smoke. This has been very loud talking with the smoking and I put up with it until yesterday when I opened my door and went kind of nuts, sort of yelling
"why don't you go outside to smoke instead of standing there making such a noise,…
