The Walk
Not well
so I saw the lady across the street she was frail and pick at the moss in the flower bed
I walked over ,stood there and said hi
she said nothing ,but did smile
I said "chili day"
she said "yes it is "
I said " take care
she said "I will "
I leaned down and kissed her on her cheek . soft white chilli cheek ,yet warm .
she smiled I smiled
I walked back to my house and shut my door
I looked though my window and…

Caution on Twitter urged as tourists barred from US
Since some of you on Vloggerheads plan to visit the US, I thought I would mention this latest outrage.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-16810312
Watch what you post online about the United States if you want to visit this country! And don't you dare threaten the eternal rest of Marilyn Monroe! The bones of Saint Marilyn are sacred relics in this country.
I'll have to be careful in what I…

Dolphins, Cats, & Elephants (This is not some wild romance)
Animal Nation
I didn't meet you in the jungle
Swinging from a tree
I sat down at the piano
You were playing with me
I couldn't believe all the things you could do
The apes I've seen were in the zoo
They say we are unique with this language that we speak
But you have proved…

Conversion Disorder ?
Tourettes Syndrome symptoms have been identified in a group of teenage girls attending LeRoy High School in New York state. Initial prognosis is conversion disorder (mass hysteria). Erin Brockovich's org (environmental activist) has attempted to investigate and marry the situation with a train chemical spill 30 years ago. Those efforts were halted. …

A day in the life...31st January 2012
Cold has finally come to southern England and outside has a universally grey look punctuated by bright spots of colour from Spring flowers brought on unseasonably early by the previously mild weather. Inside it is warm, not only because of the central heating but because my eldest son and his wife are visiting from Bosnia Herzegovina. Currently he's sitting at the table composing music on his Mac using a neat little keyboard he purchased in Brighton last year. As for me I'm writing Daily…

Just looking through some old photographs last night. This is at Kennedy Space Center in Florida in 2005. They have a Saturn 5 Moon rocket laid on its side and separated out into the stages. We ate lunch under the third stage. The five main stage one engines generated over 160 million horsepower during the…

Free Movies
Not that any of us need any more entertainment options, but YouTube is officially showing full length movies. I didn't recognize a lot of the titles but there are some good choices like "Donnie Brasco" and "Groundhog Day".

before I vote ...
Can I ask a question of the four gentlemen who are up for the admin positions please?
I just want to know whether, when you're elected, you will answer any innocent liittle question that I might ask?
I mean tell me straight, now, before you get in
because I get upset if the admin person ignores me
so whichever one/ones of you who promise that you will actually at least acknowledge my innocent little questions will get…

Solid State Drives
It is a an interesting name "Solid State Drives".
If your not a geek it is a Hard drive that has no spinning disk so you don't risk hardware failure due to disk damage. Another great thing is well, it doesn't have that spinning disk slowing it down in the retrieval of the information you have on it. Yes it is in essence a big "thumb drive" or not really big but a memory card rather than a "drive" but it is fast and can breath new life into a laptop and ya I like…
