I've seen other photos of the Transformer 3 scenes being shot online. When I was in NYC over the weekend they were shooting a crowd scene at the Rockefeller Plaza but I don't know what the movie was.

According to Wikipedia, "The basic idea for the movie was mostly Nicolas Cage's, who wanted to make a feature length movie based upon the Fantasia segment of the same name.". And they list Johann Wolfgang von Goethe as one of the writers, LOL.

New York City Overnight Trip

The Sorcerer's Apprentice - Movie Review

I saw the Walt Disney Pictures "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" over the weekend. It was a OK film. I probably would not have spent the money to see "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" if not for the fact that the movie is set in Manhattan. A considerable number of NYC landmarks are featured in the movie including; the Chrysler Building, Wall Street's Charging Bull sculpture which gets animated, Times Squar… Continue

Doom And Gloom - Our Extinction Or A Great Depression

I've just read another article about how methane gas trapped under the Gulf of Mexico could erupt and kill all life on the planet: Doomsday: How BP Gulf disaster may have triggered a 'world-killing' event . I'm not sure if this is credible, but I've seen a few articles about a possible methane gas disaster.

It seems far more likely that we are headed for a gre… Continue

Museum Mile In Manhattan

Yesterday, June 26th 2010, I made my seventh trip to New York City this year. My purpose on this trip was to visit some of the minor museums on Museum Mile, Upper East Side, Manhattan.

As usual, I took the 6 Lexington Avenue Local subway from 51st Street to reach 68th Street Hunter College. I was surprised to receive two Liberty dollar coins in change for my MetroCard purchase. Dollar coins are rare because you never seem to find them in circulation. Even though I studied the area the

Berlin ist dufte!

I found this video by Nina Hagen this evening after getting a CD single I found on eBay:

This is a cool song for me to study because she mentions many of the places I plan to visit. I intend to stay at the Hotel Alexander Plaza which is near the Alexanderplatz.

I also recently bought a box lot of German books and CDs for learning Englisch.

@Ish, oddly, the London underground is the oldest subway in the world, at around 150'ish years old, it just gets up dated every decade or so
