I was quite saddened today. I work in an open-planned office with about 50 - 60 people and with the exception of one other person, I didn't see anyone else wearing a poppy for Armistice Day. And with 2008 being the 90th year since the end of WWI it was a great shame to see such indifference.
We had a fire alarm sound three times at 11am for a two minute silence and a couple of people actually sat up and questioned why the alarm was sounding.
