I got such a late start this morning that I decided to take a mental health day. I haven't had any time to decompress for much too long. My weeks have been full of work and helping take care of my grandson, Cai and the weekends have been full of taking care of various responsibilities around the house. I have been staying up late and getting up early for so long that I decided to give myself a chance to breathe.

I see there is a lot going on recently on Vloggerheads. Some of the ideas that have been discussed for years are finally taking shape. I am glad to see that we are finally getting around to voting on a constitution. Many thanks to Marcel and all who have worked on pulling together this document. I hope that all goes well and we can ratify this constitution with a vote.

I have been neglecting my online presence for way too long now. I retreated into the numbness of going to work, coming home, eating dinner, doing chores, watching tv, going to bed, wake up and repeat. I don't know what woke me up again but I'm glad I did.



I have been working on a programming project over on Heroku Garden. It's a neat site that lets you build a Ruby on Rails application using a web interface. It's the most fun I've had in weeks.

I've been fighting some kind of virus the last couple of days. I was on my way to work this morning when it suddenly became apparent that I should turn around and go home and take the day off. I rested all day but I still feel pretty bad. I hope a good night's sleep will leave me feeling me much better.
