My husband is turning 64 next month. He is the provider of medical insurance through his employment for the both of us. He has been told that upon his 65th birthday though, he must switch from the company provided health care to Medicare and / or one of the Part B options. Here is my question - does that mean that I'll no longer have coverage? I won't be 65 for 9 more years. Does that mean that I must go back to work to obtain benefits? Hopefully someone here has already addressed this issue and can provide a clue. Thanks!

He there.. You should ask his employer about that. I would think that as long as he continues to pay for at least YOUR part of the insurance that you would stay covered under him. Unless he retires. I'm guessing :)

Thanks Joanne. I'll ask him to do that. As it happens, I did go back to work and will have my own coverage, but it's a question that intrigues me nonetheless.

You're welcome Liz.. :) I just joined Vloggerhead today. Have no clue what I'm doing yet. Was this site founded by Renetto from YouTube????? I have followed him for about a year but not lately and today I was checking out new vids on YouTube and did not see anything very current but noticed a website address he had on there and that linked me to Vloggerhead. How do you like this site? Joanne :)

Yes, Renetto and some other folks created it. Kenrg I think is one. I like it but honestly don't come very often. I don't like not being able to sub to favorite people and just don't seem willing to search people out, you know? But thanks for the reply! :)
