I don't understand why you insist that an admin would take this provision to resolve a minor conflict with a mod.

Are you saying we can take it as a given, guaranteed fact that an admin would NEVER take that provision to resolve a minor conflict with a mod?

@Marcel I'm not saying I'm under threat, I don't want people to get that impression, however, I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

I don't understand why you insist that an admin would take this provision to resolve a minor conflict with a mod. If both admins have a problem with the actions of a mod and consider a depositioning justified, why should we assume it might be ludicrous?

@Micheal I do understand the spirit of which you intended to be, however, I think it's a long and arduous process for a Mod and the community to go through if a Mod is let go for reasons non other than what 3.3 line 6 is intended, when it's not stipulated that that's what it is there for. It's left wide open for Admins interpretation. If it is there for rogue activities by a Mod it should say so. I felt this way before, and I feel this way now. A Mod doesn't have a leg to stand on the way it is right now if a Mod is let go for any other reason than a banning blitz or dropping docs. 3.3 line 6 doesn't reflect that at all.

I don't see how that provision could keep you from speaking your mind. It's not there to kick out mods for being in disagreement with both admins and I can't imagine it being used for that.
Besides, I can also not imagine that a mod being depositioned will not be thoroughly scrutinized by the community.

@Michael, Well... I wouldn't say I am being threatened by it. I'd like to be able to express myself about certain things without that hangin over my head because one never knows if it could be held against me, and I feel that 3.3 line 6 leaves that door far too wide open.

@Ken and PB, yes, 3.3 line 6 definitely needs to be revised or a line added. I haven't figured out exactly what yet, but I think a Mod needs a bit more protection that what exists at the moment.
